On Noise

I’ve been trying to write for the past three weeks. I told myself that I would publish something, anything today, but I have no idea what to write about. I have fragments of ideas and half-processed emotions, but nothing concrete enough to form a narrative. My head is really just filled with noise.

Everything is noise. I guess I can write about the noise.

If I could describe this noise, it would be best imagined as tv static.

Listening to Oasis and Green Day in mid july is pretty insane, but that’s been my soundtrack for 10 days straight. I can’t turn this static off, no matter how hard I smack the tv. I have a stack of unread library books and a family of dust bunnies camping in the corners.

A bird pooped on me 10 days ago and I bought two lottery tickets. I think maybe it was the wrong type of bird. Or maybe a great catastrophe was shielded from me that I would never know of, and I’m just complaining. I spilled my coffee in the car yesterday. I cleaned it as best I could, but it’s definitely marinating in my seats. I busted my knee playing mediocre volleyball. I ate a yummy peanut butter mousse.

Anyways, here’s a list of things I enjoy through the noise:
  • Wonderwall
  • Frozen mango
  • Blueberries in a box
  • Volleyball
  • Yesterday night
  • Sangria
  • My hair and my skin (glow that doesn’t reach my eyes)
  • New dress i got
  • Claude pro

But maybeee… you’re gonna be the one that saves meee…

Umm that’s it.
